Steps in the Process of Energy Nutrition

Changing the way we use food can be intimidating and daunting. But fear can keep us stuck in the same well-worn ruts, entrenched in poor health.

The first step is to acknowledge that fears. Recognizing our coping strategies that we use can help us on our way to improved health.

When we make energetic lifestyle choices, we will bring about excellent energy, lightness in mindbody, superior digestion, improved appetite, greater physical strength and stamina, stronger resistance to disease, and most importantly a sense of real happiness.

Here are a few suggestions:

  • Carry your particular nutritional information with you wherever you go for 6 weeks to make improved food choices a habit
  • Choose those things that are easiest to do first
  • Be patient with yourself and take baby steps in the direction of the change you want to see happen
  • Stop self-criticism if you make a poor choice or fail to do something properly
  • Understand the faith-trust cycle. If you believe that this lifestyle change will bring about an improved feeling of wellbeing and then continue to make good choices, you’re faith will be rewarded when you actually begin to feel better. This brings about more trust in the process which in turn promotes more faith. The cycle is self-perpetuating.
